ABOUT

Paul Arkle is an experienced Farm Environment Advisor and has provided advice and support to farmers and other land managers in Cumbria and neighbouring counties for over 25 years.


He provides advice on all aspects of the farmed environment, policy and grant funding as part of the Cumbria Farm Environment Partnership. Agri-environment work includes the full range of Countryside Stewardship scheme grants and the new Sustainable Farming Incentive scheme and other Environmental Land Management scheme grants. He prepares Higher and Mid-tier grant applications and the full range of Water and Air quality Capital Grant and Hedgerows and Boundaries grants applications. For more complex schemes he can also prepare implementation plans and feasibility studies and undertake agreement management, record keeping and submission of claims.


Paul is a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MCIEEM) and a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv).


Paul is also member of the BASIS Professional Register – FACTS (R/FE/3751) and BASIS Soil and Water Management Certificate (SW992) qualified.
